Refund policy

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on food, baking ingredients, chocolate products, or any perishable items unless:

• The product arrived damaged,

• The product arrived defective,

• The wrong item was sent, or

• There is an error caused by our team.

If you received a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at bakeryislandny@gmail.com with:

• Your order number

• Photos of the item and the packaging

• A brief description of the issue

If approved, we will offer either:

• A replacement shipment, or

• A refund to your original payment method.

Returns of opened or used items are not accepted under any circumstances.

Final Sale Items: All perishable food items are final sale and cannot be returned for quality or safety reasons.

Out of Stock Items & Partial Order Fulfillment: Occasionally, a specific item in your order may become out of stock after your purchase is completed. If this occurs, we will automatically issue a partial refund for the out-of-stock item directly to your original payment method. The remaining items in your order will be processed and shipped as planned. Receiving a partial refund for an unfulfilled item does not entitle you to a full refund for the entire order, and all successfully delivered items remain subject to our final sale policy.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes: If you have any issues with your order, we strongly encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a bank chargeback for an order where the items were successfully delivered, or where a refund has already been issued for an out-of-stock item, is considered fraudulent. We maintain comprehensive, time-stamped records of all shipments, delivery proofs, partial refunds, and customer communications. In the event of an unjustified chargeback, all evidence will be submitted to the credit card issuer and payment gateway, which may affect your future ability to place orders.
